Don't underestimate the size of this island paradise - there are a plethora of ways to enjoy Isla Mujeres! Here are some of our recommendations.

Getting to and from Isla Mujeres

​

We offer an exclusive transport service from Cancun airport directly to the house for 180 USD each way, inclusive of ferry tickets. You will have your own trusty chauffeur with a van to meet you when you land, help you with luggage and any other needs you may have.

​

Otherwise, we recommend booking a SuperShuttle online to take you to Puerto Juarez, where you will have to take a 20 minute ferry ride to Isla Mujeres.

​

Taxi and other shuttle services are available at the airport when you exit.

​

It is possible to rent cars in Cancun but it is not recommended for the island.

​

Journey from the airport to the house is roughly 1 hour 45mins.

Getting around La Isla

​

The best and easiest way to experience what the island has to offer is by golfito. There are a number of golf cart rentals by the port when you get off the ferry and around the corner from the house itself. Rentals per day can range from 45-55 USD, weekly for 270-375 USD. You must hold a valid driver's license in order to rent one.

​

Biking around is also heaps of fun! You can cycle the circumference of the island in about an hour and half, but you are going to want to make multiple stops - perhaps for palm-fresh cocos frios or some delicious helados. Expect breathtaking views! Make sure you test them out before renting them - bicycles are prone to rust in this humid climate.

WARNING - Watch out for iguanas lazing on the roads!
